Anahita Sedaghatfar is a first-chair trial attorney and nationally recognized television legal analyst with more than two decades of experience litigating high-stakes matters in state and federal courts. She has secured multi-million dollar recoveries across employment discrimination, civil rights, sexual harassment, and business litigation matters.
A familiar face on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, HLN, and ABC News, she is regularly sought by national networks for expert commentary on the country’s most high-profile legal cases.
Anahita received her B.A. with highest honors from the University of California, Davis, and her J.D. magna cum laude (top 5% of her class) from Southwestern University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review Executive Board as a Note and Comment Editor. She received multiple American Jurisprudence Awards for Academic Excellence, including awards for Professional Responsibility/Legal Ethics and Sports Law.
Anahita served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Audrey B. Collins (Ret.), United States District Court for the Central District of California, gaining invaluable insight into the judiciary’s decision-making process, an experience that continues to shape her approach to litigation.
Anahita began her legal career at Musick, Peeler & Garrett, LLP, where she focused on products liability, business litigation, and insurance coverage. She later founded The Law Offices of Anahita Sedaghatfar, PC and formed a partnership with renowned O.J. Simpson prosecutor Christopher Darden, with whom she successfully tried multiple high-profile discrimination cases.
In 2015, Anahita became Of Counsel to The Cochran Firm, the national civil rights powerhouse founded by the late Johnnie L. Cochran, best known for leading the O.J. Simpson defense and widely regarded as one of the greatest trial lawyers in American legal history.
In addition to her litigation practice, Anahita represents clients in the entertainment and sports industries, including professional athletes in the NBA, MLB, and NFL, as well as filmmakers, actors, production companies, record labels, and musical artists. Her work includes contract drafting, negotiation, and strategic advisory across a wide range of transactions.
Anahita serves as an adjunct professor at Southwestern University School of Law.

Beyond the Courtroom.
While the courtroom is where Anahita thrives, her commitment to serving others extends well beyond her legal practice. She has dedicated pro bono service to California Lawyers for the Arts, served on the Board of Orange County Hillel, and volunteered with Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters, supporting organizations that strengthen and serve their communities.
Outside of her practice, Anahita enjoys mentoring law students and young attorneys, and learning the game of golf. She's a die-hard Golden State Warriors fan who remains convinced the team would benefit from hearing her advice, if only Steve Kerr would return her calls.
